Why I Created Light 516

Driven by my faith in Jesus Christ, I am committed to using technology, innovation, and creative work for a purpose greater than myself. As Scripture says, “For the love of Christ compels us” (2 Corinthians 5:14). What began as a lifelong passion for technology has become a calling to ensure that the work of my hands carries meaning and impact.

God has been faithful to me through every hardship, loss, accusation, and trial. Through those experiences I have learned the truth of Scripture that even when we are persecuted, we are not destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:9). That faithfulness shapes the purpose behind everything I build.

During seasons of waiting, transition, and struggle, my heart was stirred toward one of the great injustices in our world—human trafficking. Scripture teaches that when we draw near to God, He draws near to us (James 4:8), and it is often in that nearness that purpose becomes clear.

Because of this, I have dedicated my work and this brand to something greater than personal success. A portion of all revenue will be directed to ministries and organizations that fight human trafficking and care for orphans. As technology and generative AI continue to produce unprecedented growth and opportunity, I believe it is my responsibility to ensure that some of those gains are redirected toward those who need it most.

My mission is to steward innovation with integrity, pursue excellence in my craft, and use the resources entrusted to me to protect the vulnerable, restore dignity, and reflect the love and justice of God in the world.
